Disable Network Proxy Authentication Popup

There is a specific issue that causes users to receive a popup asking for the root password after logged on.

The below workaround will work for CentOS 7.x and 6.x too.

 

Workaround

Create a file 20-no-show-proxy-dialog.pkla with content

File /etc/polkit-1/localauthority/30-site.d/20-no-show-proxy-dialog.pkla

[No Show Proxy Dialog]
Identity=unix-user:*
Action=org.freedesktop.packagekit.system-network-proxy-configure
ResultAny=no
ResultInactive=no
ResultActive=no

Reboot
